I just shipped something and paid for it myself.

There is a tracking number.

How do I put this on my account please?

Go to your sold items page.

https://www.ebay.com/mys/sold 

Click on the "View order details" to open the details for that sale. On that page, under the shipping method, you should see the option to edit or add a new tracking number.

The sale below is already delivered, so you may see "add" where I show "edit".
