A customer ordered and paid for two items, each with a separate shipping cost. I am combining the two orders. How do I refund the customer SPECIFICALLY the cost of the shipping label, so it doesn't affect tax and other charges. The auto-chat has not been helpful. It keeps looping.

You can issue a partial refund:
- Locate the order in Seller Hub. https://www.ebay.com/sh/ord
- From the dropdown menu, select Send refund.
- Choose a reason for the refund.
- Specify a refund amount for the item or for the order.
- Enter the desired refund amount, and select Send refund.

Thank you for your reply. I was looking for a way to specifically refund the shipping charge. Refunding through the seller hub refund process doesn't specifically target the shipping charge. Therefore, the bottom line is affected, including fees, etc. I did speak to an agent, who advised me to refund outside of Ebay, such as by sending a check to the buyer.
