How do I find the return address of a seller. The return shipping from ebay is extremelly overpriced. I can get better price just going to post office.

Can you download and open the return label in the dispute to see the registered return address - if it's an eBay label it's not charged unless it's actually used.

@ferncliff-39If you download the label, doesn't that then prevent you from entering your own tracking number or can you still edit the ebay label number?

@rfmtm- I have no idea - it seems like buyers can't enter tracking either way - with eBay label or their own. It's such a mess, I'm constantly having to tell them to ask CS to add it for them.
Is there another way to get the seller return address without asking them - it does need to go back to the registered return address.

@ferncliff-39 Yes the return address on the label would be the safest to use. Don't know any other way to insure you got that address. Just seem to remember then having a problem updating the tracking number.

@rfmtm - I'm sure you're right. Wonder why eBay doesn't show the return address somewhere else in the case, plenty of buyers use their own labels, esp if they have to pay for it.

ebay's Return Service labels give a discount, so I am surprised it would cost more than paying at the retail counter.

I agree, any ebay return label I used was always cheaper then I could have purchased even with a discount.
