How to ask a seller a question

Very hard to contact customer service. I am trying to ask a seller a question. I select Contact Seller and a window opens but it doesn't allow me to type any text. I tried it on three different computers but it's the same. Is it ebay or my account settings? I have been able to contact sellers in the past with no issues.

Go to the listing page, click on "Contact seller".

Next to "Still have questions?" click on "Contact seller"

In the pop up window that appears, start typing your question where it says "Send message"

Click on the "Send message" button.

Thanks, I messed up. I tried typing in the field above that box but it wasn't working.

eBay has made the process unnecessarily confusing -- lots of folks have had similar issues lately.
