How to add a drop-down for buyers to select what color they want

Let's say I'm selling 15 widgets. 6 are red and 9 are blue.

I've seen listings where I can pull down a selection tool to define which size pants I want for example and I need to do this for my widget listing.

Any instructions I see to walk me through this seem old and do not apply to the listing screen I am working on.

Any help, folks?

I did see that page and the instructions there seem not to apply to the make-a-listing screens I see.
I hit a dead-end.  Below are snippets of my journey!

1. Choose Fixed price as your listing format and enter your Buy It Now price.
   DONE
2. Enter the quantity.
   DONE.
3. Complete the rest of your listing and select Submit.
   DONE but no SUBMIT button, it's now a "List it" button (which I didn't use). It shows how old the instructions are.
   WOULDN'T doing this make it go live though?  I haven't yet entered the choices.
   Carrying on, let's see. 

To create a multi-quantity listing with the advanced listing tool.
I HAVE NOT FOUND A WAY TO ACCESS SUCH A TOOL, but the instructions say to fill in your listing options, but I never see any such screen.

Yep, I keep going back to that page.  My selling screen doesn't match what they say it should look like.  Maybe I have to try a diff browser...

If you are using a desktop computer, when you go to create a listing, the last spot for adding a photo is to add a video.  If you see that, you are using the advance listing tool.

I *do* have the option to add a video to the photos but still there is nowhere to add variatiants.

Sections I see are:

Under "Item Specifics" we see:

Under pricing there is also a place for Quantity

Even though both "Number of Items" (under "Item Specifics") and "Quantity" (under "Pricing") have "15" in them this still doesn't display a section to define variations.
