You might consider putting it in the description. You could also put what would fit in a message or reply. Regardless make sure there are no links, addresses, or phones numbers. Otherwise, you must wait for a completed transaction to email or put it in the package.

No way I have a listing that is for horse racing software. I'm trying to give the buyer a free report to see if it is something they can use. Ebay has no availability to do that is that correct. Very bad business practice if you can't give something at no cost to a potential buyer.

If the buyer sent you a message requesting more about your item, reply to it with your additional information.

Apparently, you do not know what I'm asking. Thanks for the reply but is not an answer I'm looking for. Ebay doesn't have answer or way for me to send a FREE report to a PROSPECTIVE buyer. I'm trying to let them try it before the buy it, that's a catches phrase. Ebay doesn't trust you do that because they're afraid they might miss out on a selling fee, jerks. I can't offer FREE returns because a buyer can purchase download it to their computer then tell Ebay they want a refund. So, I lose, that why I offer a FREE report.............................

Is this free report a download file?
Is the item itself a download file?
If so ebay handles this differently and you list in the classified section, then you can send anything you want and any returns and refunds is strictly between you and the buyer without ebay forcing you to do anything.
