Getting Paid

I am new to ebay. I have my bank account connected. Last week I made my first sale. It has been shipped and received by the buyer. However, I have not received the money. It doesn't say that the payment is on hold. Is this normal for new sellers? What can I do?

Congratulations on your first sale!

New and infrequent sellers are indeed subject to payment holds. As you build a reputation for delivering what was advertised, holds will become less likely.

If you have a payment being held, there is a link there to see when you can expect the hold to be lifted.

When you view the transaction on your sold listings does it show awaiting payment, pending payment  or on hold?
