what would have been my first purchase with eBay was returned by the USPS which apparently will not deliver packages to my home since I have a PO Box. I’m fine not arguing with the Postal Service but will instead accept their suggestion to include both my physical address and my post office box number. But now eBay will not accept my re-purchase of the item that was returned. They tell me the following:
“To help protect your eBay account, we sometimes limit the amount of items that can be bid on or purchased by a single account. However, you may be able to increase the limit on your account by verifying some information about yourself.
Call us to speak with an eBay Customer Service agent about the limits on your buying activity.”
I’m trying to buy one single thing. And I don’t think there’s any more verification I can do on my account. There is, of course, no live customer service number. Or is there? I suppose I could contact the seller and drive to their physical location. Any other suggestions?
