I was having pretty good communication with seller regarding a return. I used the label they sent, i sent them all info and pictures they requested, i dropped box off at UPS store like they said i could, on the date they told me, Jan 18, 2024.
UPS said the package was delivered today to the address on label the seller sent me Jan 4th.
Today seller asked for tracking number and i told them i could send it later in the day.
When i went to give tracking number i saw an email from ebay saying seller requested ebay to make a decision on the return and ebay decided thay seller did not have to refund me! How is that ?! Ebay's email said it could be 48 hours for them to decide on my case and seems they made instant decision against me. Huh?!
I had been in friendly communication with seller in China and because their hours are different, sometimes our messges (over 40! now) do not happen in real time.
On top of it - UPS reported that the package was DELIVERED to the address on seller's label TODAY. Seller denies package was to go to oklahoma city - but this was the address on the label they sent. EBAY PLEASE CHECK THE MESSAGES BETWEEN SELLER AND BUYER (ME) - they label is there, the tracking # is there. What else do u need?
Isn't there someone at ebay who can check messages between the seller and buyer to see the sequence of events??
Its looks like - the seller asked me for tracking number AND received package before asking ebay to close the case. : l
Why? So they wouldnt have to give me a refund?? The seller acted like they were trying to be so helpful. : /
Separately - the way to upload photos on ebay messages is hard to locate on my android. I had to type tracking info.
Seller asked me to go get the package from OK (im in FL) and send it to NY, even tho ebay closed my case and says they will not issue refund. Ebay said they will not reopen my case - what can i do??
