I sold a wrist watch in stainless steel with a small leather case to a buyer in Australia and I shipped from the US. I’ve sold watches to people in Australia before and used the same shipping service, but this time a claim was made that I had a prohibited item despite that not being the case. It was claimed that the watch is being sent back to me(no proof other than on a shipping website) and Ebay asked me to refund the buyer and relist. Now they’re telling me that they went ahead and refunded the buyer and I can file a claim for up to $100? So I could possibly get $100 back from a $600 sale and a watch that I paid well over that for originally. Is this common for such a thing to happen? After 6 years and roughly 40 sales I’m about done with Ebay
