Ebay Customer Service

I am 77, not very computer literate.  I can't get ebay customer service to return my call.  I tried 3 or 4 times and they finally sent me an email saying they were unable to reach me.  I did not miss any calls!  I have had an above average seller rating for 23 years, but six months ago til now I was hospitalized and received some sellers defects because my "helper" just told customers we were out of stock!  Ebay won't remove the defects but also won't call me back to explain further how I go about listing items (on a money restricted account) to get my account up to standard.  What do I do now?

It is unlikely that the defects will be removed. You are responsible, as the Ebay account owner, for however your "helper" handled your account in your absence.

Re: Ebay Customer Service

You can ask your question here, as we are all buyers and sellers, but we cannot remove defects.  Sorry, but they will stay on your account for one year.  Customer service can't remove them either.  They just have to age off.  Try to make as many sales as possible without having any issues.  This will change the %.

I know it's too late now, but your account could have been placed on time away.

Re: Ebay Customer Service

When I was restricted years ago, I found items to list for $5 with free shipping.  I didn't make any money, but the sales help to decrease the percentage of defects.  It took several months but I was finally able to get out from being a below standard seller.
