What process's does it take to get EBay involved in doing something about counterfeit merchandise being sold on EBay. I used to like EBay, but no one likes being ripped off. I tried to buy Apple AirPod Pro 2 refurbished models when google was showing the price comparisons between competitors. The AirPod Pros were the most competitive and I bid and bought one. These were FAKEs, and the Apple Store verified that. Now what gets me is your process is that I return the product to the seller that was conning me out of my money, so he can do the same thing to someone else. Doesn’t look like I have a choice, gotta wait three days for what…let the guy become a different seller? And there are a lot of sellers offering brand new products at prices that are sure to be fakes. As a long time retailer it will in time kill your business when you lose credibility. Sellers should be upset, I know I and my family won’t shop you, because you lost my trust. My thoughts were that someone cared and justice would prevail and the counterfeiter’s would be shut down. I spent two days trying to get them to work right, sent a message to the seller trying to get the truth out of him, and finally had to go to apple to have them tell me that they are fake. This product had a serial number that passed Apple website app, but there where hundreds of claims to apple that these are fake. I imagine many of those came from EBay. It’s driving up the price of these products, and trust me, it’s going to drive your sales down. My plans are to contact three agencies to see what I can do get some justice, let me know what you think.
