Complaint About Payment and Non-Delivery of Product

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to file a complaint regarding a recent purchase made on your platform, eBay. The payment was successfully completed; however, I have yet to receive the purchased product or a refund for the transaction, which is causing me significant concern.

Transaction details:

  • Payment date: December 2, 2024
  • Amount: US$ 314.99
  • Seller: Gadget-solutions
  • Transaction ID: O*13-12397-99288

As I have always considered eBay a reliable platform for online shopping, this situation is highly disappointing. I kindly request your immediate attention to clarify and resolve this matter by ensuring the delivery of the product or providing the appropriate refund.

I look forward to your prompt response and appreciate your attention and cooperation in this matter.

The Mentors on this forum are not part of eBay customer service and only provide advise based on our years of experience buying and selling on eBay.

 

You need to check your purchase history to see what is the last estimated delivery date shown for the item.  eBay cannot help until that date has passed by at least one day and not more than 30 days.  If you are within that time frame then you can open a case for an "Item not received".  Then the seller must prove that the item was delivered or is still in transit with tracking.

 

Since you are located outside of the USA a lot will depend on if the seller was sending the item directly to you or was using the eBay International Shipping program (EIS).  If they are using the EIS then their obligation was to ship to the shipping hub and eBay is responsible from there.
