Hello,
Currently typing this logged in to Chrome on my Android phone. Chrome on Windows is giving me fits AFTER clearing the cache.
I see several posts regarding the "Pardon our interruption... we think you're a bot" error. None of those fixes are working.
I cleared my browsing history in Chrome and that is when this login issue started for me.
- I have no extensions enabled
- Javascript, Cookies, and Third-party Cookies are enabled
- Chrome is version 128.0.6613.85 (latest)
- Windows 11 with all updates
- I am using the 'email or username' plus password method to login. My account is not tied to other accounts/sites for login purposes.
eBay app is working on my phone and eBay in my phone's Chrome browser is also working. Just not on my PC.
Some remedies offer an alternate sign-in link to https://signin.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll and that link also takes me to the same "Pardon..." error message.
Thanks

Try an incognito browser window in Chrome on your desktop to see if that makes a difference.
Try a different browser on your desktop such as Firefox.
Try this alternative sign-in link:
https://signin.ebay.com/signin/
If you are signed in to that eBay account on the community pages on your desktop, try using the link in the upper right that appears when you click on your blue gem placeholder icon to reach your "My eBay" page.
It might also be worth trying to sign in to ebay.ca to see if that works.

Well, I just tried again this morning and I could login. I didn't change any settings on my end but I see Chrome updated to version 128.0.6613.86 behind the scenes. Maybe that fixed it - dunno.
We want your journey here to be as great as can be, so we have put together some links to help you get quickly familiarized with the eBay Community.
