Automatic checkout

Is there a way that I can cancel automatic checkout.  I buy from sellers that will combine S&H for items purchased within several days of each other.  I also travel frequently and want items delivered when I'm going to be around.  EBAY automatically charging my credit card and completing the transaction without my permission or knowledge a few hours after I've won an item at auction is preventing both from happening.

ebay automatically opted into auto-pay to try and reduce unpaid items.  Sellers can opt out of auto-pay.  You would have to contact the sellers to have them opt out before you make your purchases.
