My customer won an auction last week and the transaction got cancelled 4 days later most likely due to non-payment. He is still bidding on a current auction of mine which is why he didn't pay; he wanted to take advantage of combined shipping. I guess I should have invoiced him but I didn't; he still wants the item. How do I go about making sure he still gets the item he won.

You will have to relist the item they won that was cancelled for nonpayment.

So maybe I should coordinate with my buyer a time that I relist so he could buy it right away? Would auction or buy it now be better?
Thanks

Turn off/disable your Preferences that automatically cancels unpaid items, or change the setting to longer than 4 days, or better yet add that buyer ID to the exclude box at the bottom of that page -

Definitely buy it now, coordinate the time with the buyer.

Thanks so much. This is what I’m looking for. A settings thing.

Ok. It was BIN or a high opening bid (which no one would touch) which was his winning offer. I felt bad cause it was my fault. All he was guilty of was buying more stuff in my store. Oh well. To be continued. Thanks for your help.
