Adjustments to an invoice

I have a request from my buyer for her combined invoice.  I want to make an adjustment to the invoice, other than shipping discounts, but I can't find where I do that.  HELP please.

The only adjustments you can make on an invoice are for shipping.

ok, then why does it show a line for adjusting shipping AND a line for making adjustments.  That is why it is so confusing.  I offered a discount to this buyer and I have no where to show it, not a smart thing for eBay to restrict sellers from offering a discount on occasion.  I understand they want to have a buyer make an offer but this was an item I don't generally accept offers.

ebay charges its FVF based on the item price, so there can be no adjustments for that.  The best that can be done, if the buyer didn't send a Best Offer, or you didn't send a Reply with Offer, is to adjust the shipping cost in order to give free shipping.
