Accepted return for Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max - has passcode

I accepted a return for an iPhone 12 Pro Max, which I sold. When I received the device back, it has a four digit passcode to unlock it. 

If the customer doesn't provide the passcode to the phone. What can I do? I already left positive feedback and unable to unlock the iPhone without the passcode

@rideswitch82   I hope the buyer gets back to you.  Do you still have access to their phone number in order details?     Select view order details next to the item and then select show contact info on the far right under the Order info.   Sometimes texting a buyer will get their attention more than eBay messages.  

If you google there are a few ways to unlock an iPhone if you don't have the passcode.

The eBay user got back to me and gave me the passcode. It was an honest mistake 👍
