I bought an item and it was faulty. I opened a returns but the seller asked me to close it and they would send a replacement. I did. When the replacement arrived it was faulty also. I send the seller a message to explain this and now they are inactive. I am sitting with two faulty items.

Never close a return request until the issue has been fully resolved to your satisfaction.
Any seller that asks you to close the case so they can send a replacement/issue a refund is lying to you.
You can file a dispute through Paypal or contact your payment source.
