7 day hold for bad feedback

Hello:

When a buyer gives a neutral or negative to a seller after 7 days.

When does the 7 day countdown begin: when buyer pays for the item, when the item is shipped or when they receive the item?   Thanks in advance

@shawmarki   I believe it's 7 days from the date of sale but let me check with eBay staff.    I also am not sure if this rule still applies or not.

Great question @comics-scifi-collectibles and @shawmarki! You're spot on @comics-scifi-collectibles, it's 7 days from when the listing ends before you can leave a negative or a neutral feedback for a Top-rated seller.

What if the listing continues due to quantity?  Then will buyers still can leave neutrals or negatives after 7 days if a listing continues?   I don't get it.

7 days from the date you committed to the purchase either by clicking on Buy It Now or winning the auction.
