Hi there Cricket my day was fine, took Sophie into town and she bought a couple of CD's and a couple of games for her games console.
Sounds like you had a good day. Mine was okay too. We did get some snow, but nothing significant.
It was a fairly mild day here. I wore my lighter jacket out. I also went to spend some book tokens Frank gave me for Christmas. I went to the shop where he bought them and picked 5 great books and when I got to the till the cashier told me I wasn't allowed to use them!!!!
the girl told me the company was going into receivership at the end of this month so they couldn't accept vouchers. I told her Frank had bought them there. She said it wasn't her fault, I told her it wasn't mine either!!!
I know and I was so annoyed as I wanted all of the books I had chosen!! Anyway mum phoned today and was telling me that although dad didn't have much he had a little in his bank account and we are all getting some money from that. My brother got his rings and my older brother got his watch. I am going to use the money to buy a nice ring in memory of dad.
I like it too! The money we're getting isn't such a lot but I don't want it to be spent on housekeeping etc. I thought get something to remember dad by.
