Come one come, all to the lodge, for great winter sport and comfort. Cozy up to the fireplace or dine on fine food and beverage, but more important, have a good time and fine conversation with friends of old and new. Come one, come all and enjoy the ambience. You won't be disappointed.
She wouldn't see it as going down to their level she would see it as us going up to her level!!! However I would never ever see a child do without!
They did come and visit a couple of years ago on a Saturday. We offered my brother something to eat and as usual he said yes, she refused everything we offered! Later on she said she was going to the local petrol station to grab something to eat and asked could she take Sophie with her. I said it was okay for Sophie to go with her. She asked my brother if he wanted something and he said no. She came back a while later with Sophie and handed my brother a packet of crisps and a chocolate bar and sat and ate some crisps and a chocolate bar too. I saw Sophie was chewing something and asked her what she was eating. Sophie told me she was eating a few crisps that my brother had given her. Not only had my sister in law taken her to the petrol station and bought crisps and chocolate bars but she bought absolutely nothing for Sophie!!!! WHo does something like that buying chocolate bars and leaving a child out!!!
Catherine, I don't know your sister & I'm not being judgmental of her, but that was sooo wrong! You don't treat kids that way!
Yep, the house is depressing.... with the cold and all... But we've been moving kids from one room to another..

Come back when you've sorted the bank out Close!!! Cricket she's not my sister thankfully just my SIL!!!! I was sooooo angry that day, as I said we do not expect anything from anyone but to do that to a child. Can you imagine Sophie standing at the counter beside her ever hopeful that her auntie would buy her a nice chocolate bar!!!

No she's not an only child she has a sister who has a daughter same age as SOphie. Remember I said earlier I bet that little girl gets gifts for her birthday from them!!!
