cool clock but can't read the maker

I got this really cool clock but can't read the maker on the back.  I believe the base is green bakelite.  The glass is curved.  The back is quite ornate and I can make out an f and N.  Anyone know about this clock?

Very cool looking clock. Looks late 20's - 30's german.

@chevymontecarlo88 What clues did you use to say German made?  Clocks are not my area of expertise but I just thought it was lovely.  Thanks for confirming the time period.

It looks similar to a clock that my grandmother had who immigrated from Austria. I have no idea where she got it from but looks very similar to hers. She had many items from that region but i can't say for sure if it is German or not. Personally i love the small little details you find on items similar from that era. I can't tell how the one you have is made, but my grandmothers was built like a tank. I think my brother has it and still works till this day.

It is quite heavy for the size.  Unfortunately it is overwound, but It just has that 'look'.  I plan on putting it in my booth at the antique mall and hope someone can fix it.  I just have no idea how to price.  It's hard to price something you just acquired, but love!

My rule of thumb when i had a consignment booth was i would price items somewhat aggressively unless i liked it. If i did like it i would double the price of what i think its worth. 😁 Sometimes it would sell, sometimes i would discount it on a sale or sometimes it would eventually come home with me. Win Win Win 😂

-Good luck with it.
