Vintage Bates Bedspread Date

I’ve uncovered this Bates bedspread but after researching patterns and years manufactured, I’ve come up with zero. The tag I have isn’t shown on the Bates site that features the history of their maker’s tag. This seems to be a paper type fabric. Anyone able to point me where I might find more information or possibly know the pattern and approximate years? I’m thinking it is matalaise in a medallion design. Thank you!

Could it be something made for the motel industry and not cataloged? Just a wild guess.
