Neopolianic Sword Help ID has marks

I found this sword in an old attic. I think it's Neopolitan era and it measures 22 3/4" L and the blade is 17 1/2".

There are 3 marks. A # on the top of the blade 2062. On the handle the # 45 and a shield mark on the blade. Any help would be 20210722_194314.jpg20210722_194321.jpg20210722_194326.jpg20210722_194346.jpg20210722_194403.jpg20210722_194450.jpgneat and thanks

Re: Neopolianic Sword Help ID has marks

The pattern here is often referred to as a Watchman's Sword.  It was often carried by police or gendarmes.  It was used in many countries in the mid to late 1800's and was made by makers in Germany, France and other countries, both for local use and for export.  The small shield shaped mark could be a maker's mark but, not one that I am familiar with.  It could also be a crest for the country that imported it.  This was common in some of the South American countries.
