This pitcher is 7-8” tall. There was a note I found in it that says it was made in Russia in 1700. How would I verify this? Also, any info on the make-up and glaze of the pitcher would be helpful. TIA

Actually the note says made in Germany, not Russia. But this kind of shiny glaze didn't exist in 1700. This looks like a fairly modern piece.

This is not a teapot, as the note says; and I agree, that it says it was made in Germany, not in Russia.
However, shiny glazes were available in Europe, going back to the 16th century (1500's) if not earlier. Some colors of glazes were available in the 13th - 14th centuries, or earlier. I think that the lighting that was used to take the photograph has enhanced the shininess, to some degree.

agree with the others, not collectible in the state it is.
in central Europe this form and color was often used for hot milk or coffee.
