Looking for info on an asian sword, with markings

was supposed to be sword from the Vietnam war.. cannot find any info on it...... Thanks

Late WW2 Japanese Arisaka bayonet, fits type 99 rifle.  Also would fit earlier type 38 long rifle.

It may well have been brought back from 'Nam... I've seen Japanese WW2 Rilfes w/ war trophy registration papers from that conflict.

Here are the factory /foundry marks of the Japanese during WW2. By the handle it seems like a late war piece. The factories were bombed so the were not fancy
