I have a chance to purchase this german figurine with a child & saluki. Someone suggested there might be something missing the child was holding, but I have no idea what that could be? ANyone know anything about it?

He's clearly missing something. Maybe a leash and collar for the dog?

someone identified it as a Rosenthal figure #1282. And even though it looks that way, its not,,, Thanks for replying.
