I picked up this leather briefcase at a garage sale, and their is no makers name on it. It looks vintage, but how do I know for sure? I have googled untl I am blue in the face to find anything even close with no luck. Any help I can get would be appreciated. Also, should I clean it...or leave it? How can I get some traffic to my listing if I am not eveb sure of its age, etc. Thanks

This type of craft was very popular in the 1970's and 80's.
You could buy a DIY kit in craft stores, and the box would come with pieces of leather, tools etc.
Everything to make an array of decorative and useful items.
Your piece appears to have been made by a more experienced crafter.
