Re: question about .99 cents listings

It's because you have a store. People with stores are still charged 10¢ insertion fee, but have lower final value fees. http://pages.ebay.com/sellerinformation/news/FeeUpdate2010.html#chart -- Kathy -- Edited by poozybear at 07/24/2010 8:55 AM PDT

Re: question about .99 cents listings

I miss my store...and wish I hadn't been forced to close it. Wonder if anyone else misses theirs? For a while there it was a real asset having a store. Oh well, changes and more changes.

Re: question about .99 cents listings

I miss having a store. I closed mine after I stopped selling my decals, but I liked having it. I can't see any real advantage to having one now, though, unless you sell a lot of high dollar items. For small stuff, it's just not worth it. -- Kathy

I miss mine too. But I refuse to pay $40 a month vs the $16 I was paying! Sue

Re: question about .99 cents listings

I totally agree. Considering that store sellers pay such a high monthly fee, they should get the same break on the 99¢ listings. Ebay's excuse explanation is that the final value fees are lower, but only .25% lower. Unless you sell a $500 item, that's just not enough to make a difference. -- Kathy

Re: question about .99 cents listings

you're so right kathy, i think pretty soon i will be putting a lock to my store too, and focus on my artfire.com one at least over there they are NO fees wish more customers who are interested in artists work follow and buy from their websites especially if they already have a good ebay and from other places feedback. I wouldn't mind paying the 15.00 every month but my fees have topped 50.00-it's ridiculous. -- My Ebay Store http://stores.ebay.com/katerinaart My Website: http://www.katerinaart.com
