I will apologize now for the elongated post. PLEASE take a moment to read this entry. My dearest friend Chenet fell into a diabetic coma last Wednesday. Because she lives alone, we did not realize she was "missing" until over 12 hours later when her mother and I called 911 to have them break down the door to rescue her. Chenet was rushed to the hospital where it was determined that she had suffered a major seizure from havine her blood sugar too low for too long. When we found her, her blood sugar levels were testing at 32. (Normal is 150) Chenet is still at the hospital and she is at least able to talk now. They are testing her for partial blindness and severe amnesia as she is unable to remember things like the state she lives in. The only two people that she has are her mother and myself. Her mother has been unable to work due to her being at the hospital. I have listed items at auction and fixed price that I am selling to help raise money in order to support Chenet and her mother for as long as necessary. Please take a moment to check my items to see if there is anything that you like there. Donations and cards are also being accepted to be given to Chenet while she is in the hospital. We are hoping that she fully recovers, but right now, they are just not sure. Donations can be sent through PayPal at true13@nc.rr.com.
