Maeve - I posted this elsewhere, but am repeating myself to make sure you see my suggestions. 1. Can the address book have folders so that we can organize the addresses. Its nice to be able to organize saved mail, but for those in more than one group, being able to separate them would be extremely helpful. 2. Can the addresses in the book be alphabetized, rather than being in the order in which they were inserted? We are working hard to resolve the member list issues. Its a top priority and you may see a temporary fix in place before we roll out the final adjustments. 3. We really do need a bigger font - bet you have't heard that one yet The font size is also a high priority fix. We don't want people to have to work too hard to see the text in groups so please stay tuned ------- We are trying to fix the bugs as quickly as possible and it appears to me that things are working a bit better this morning. I am glad to hear that people are exploring the tools and seeing what kinds of things you can do with the new groups. This is just all too much on my eyes. I read fairly fast, and have to, to lead/moderate. Post #12 makes it SO hard for me I'm reading along, and suddenly have to go to next line, completely losing my train of thought, and have to often re-read because of it. To me it is like trying to read something that is done like this. Okay, Carole and Sandra's posts are appearing to me in a different font (one is post #12, that you referred to, Jillian). Is that the "pre" button doing that? I don't understand what the pre button is. I keep looking at it on the reply menu, but I don't get what it does.

Yes, the 'pre' has to do with fonts, but is useless as far as I'm concerned. I'm not even going to bother with it. It's more clicks, more work. I can't use groups like this, it is taking 10 times - maybe even MUCH more - like 100 times more time to use groups. This highlights yet another problem. Now the thread goes out sideways so I have to scroll considerably to read to the end. Ah, I just remembered what 'pre' is. It's an old programming command from YEARS ago. It reverts to ascii format, and makes everything just 'as you typed it' So that if you want to do fancy ascii type images you now can do them I'll paste one so that you can see. Without using 'pre' doing ascii names like this is/was impossible in groups. I'd even forgotten the pre command. NOW the light comes on... I understand !!!! Sheesh. Okay, the "pre" thing sounds completely useless to me. Now . . . what the heck is going on with the posts running off the page? I was in here earlier, and everything looked fine, now all of the posts are bleeding off of the page and forcing me to scroll horizontally. Why does this keep changing?

If you type close to the right edge of the reply box (stop before it starts to wrap the text to the next line), hit enter, and start the next line, there won't be a need to scroll to the right to read the post. Re post #29: I had to scroll to the right to read it too, even though the pre button wasn't used. As for moving right or left to read posts, I use the browser (firefox) bar at the bottom of the page. Just grab with the mouse button and slide either way. Sandra
