Handling a multiple nonpayer.

I never had a nonpayer before and now one person has done it to me twice in a row. (a teddy bear and a tiger dare aceo) Person said they'll send check not paypal - nothing in my mail after 3 weeks. Then they win another auction. Not responding to invoice after 3 days. I want to relist. Do I need to get the winner's ok to do this? Or does nonpayment after a certain time give me the sell right again? Thanks, group.

You can open an unpaid item dispute. That way ebay will give you back your final value fee. That is what I recommend. Sorry to hear that you have had problems. I have been dealing with multiple scammers and a non paying bidder that another seller later emailed me about. 😐 Anyway, I recommed official documentation. Good luck. 😉

That way, they will get unpaid item disputes and negative feedback. If they are a multiple abuser they will get kicked off of ebay.

I always put on my auctions ... if payment is not received in 21 days I consider the transaction void and will relist. I'm not sure if ebay approves. Ask live help. Sorry this has happened to you. Sometimes lives go in different directions and ebay gets temporarily forgotten. You can ban this person from bidding on your work (live help can show you how).

Non paying bidders are such a pain! This is the way I handle the process... I state in my auction that payment is expected in 7 days and to contact me in 3. If I have not heard from them in 3 days, I resend an invoice, which I have preset with my payment terms. If I still have not heard from them in 5 days, I send them a gentle reminder email that I have not heard from them, and to kindly let me know their payment intentions. On day 6 I send an email reminding them that on day 7, since I have been unable to contact them I will have to assume they are a no pay. On day 7 I open a dispute. And on day 15 I close the dispute and send them an email stating the item is no longer available for them to purchase and relist. I am always very, very nice and I think 15 days is generous. I have only actually left non-payment neg FB like a couple of times. Most people eventually pay, and I have even had one person come back after neg FB was left and actually pay for the item...like 20 day later! You can also do a second chance offer to anyone else that has bid. Of course, these are my rules and I hope Ebay approves. Sorry that has happened to you! 😞

Update: A last friendly reminder did the trick. Very nice person after all. The Check came with full amount plus a little xtra for my patience. I love a happy ending.

joeartist that's great!! it doesn't always end up that way but at least one thing - you got some good information in case something like that comes up again. And don't have too much fear about selling on ebay because of this experience because non-payers don't come up that often and ebay is usually a pretty good experience for a seller. JudyB
