Just thought I'd pass this on. There is a site called HelloMetro dot com which has mini sites set up for most cities (ie: HelloPortland). They have a section for artists and it's free to get an account. You get a page where you upload mini images of your work that are clickable to full page views. You also have a brief bio and are allowed to have links back to here or wherever you sell your work. Since I just added my page a couple of weeks ago, I'm not sure if it's generated any sales yet (although it does show that I've had over 40 views), but I figure free promotion is free promotion. You never know where the next sale might come from:) Michelle

Thanks Michelle. Agree. Free promotion is free promotion. Now, please tell me when the hours in each day increase to 60 as I need every minute of that to get done all I want and need to. 😉

lol! I am so with you on that. I have sketches galore and keep coming up with new ideas and then end up completely frustrated because I don't have enough time to do them all. (damn practical things like eating and showering - I need to be painting) I know there's an answer to this somewhere in quantum physics - since linear time is an illusion anyway there should be a way to slow it down so I have more time to create! 😉

LOL, just my thoughts also! Perhaps going inside a rocket at near light-speed will do it? Isa

Its easy- any day can have 60 hours- they'll just be 24 minutes in length. See? Problem solved.

Hey, Michelle, I see you're close to some of my old stomping grounds- I used to live in Vancouver WA and used to be all over the Portland area. In fact, we are leaving the end of this week on vacation and going up to Portland, and then into Washington to visit one of my wife's brothers and then down to Lakeview OR for a school reunion. I haven't been up that way in a lonnnnggg time, so am looking forward to it- and seeing all the changes to Portland I've been hearing about over the last few years. It sounds like its a good place for artists to be at this point in time.

Okay, but if we did that would our perception of those 24 minutes slow down so that I could still accomplish the same amount of stuff within each "hour"? I love the Portland area. One of my closest friends used to live here 20 years ago and he can't believe how much it has changed in that time. I've only been here for 5 years, though. This area does have wonderful creative energy - lots going on in the arts. I'm sure you guys will have a wonderful time:)
