This is the ATC & ACEO Enthusiasts Group's weekly challenge: CHALLENGE: Week 261 Dec 26-Jan 1 "SKELETON" Depict 'SKELETON' in an ACEO. (It's YOUR interpretation of what 'SKELETON' is/are.) Put 'ACEO' & 'SKELETON' in your title. The rest of the title is up to you. List anytime during the week Dec 26-Jan 1 (Sunday through Saturday). I always love seeing what Bob comes up with -- I mean who knew there were so many ways to portray a skeleton?!?! AND -- so many buyers who love em, too! I remember doing skeletons in college drawing classes -- some of the most DIFFICULT assignments I EVER did!!! I don't think that most people realize. And then Bob and Dawn go and make them CHARMING, too! I'm hoping more of our members try this challenge. -- ~jana

Here's mine! I didn't look at any skull references, think I really need to! LOL, I'm sure this isn't what a skull really even begins to look like! ;) I really enjoy drawing teeth! I decided that, to get back into creating ACEOs again, I'm going to do one every day! Has anyone ever done this? A painting a day thingy? Thanks, Cherie -- My Listings!

Still looks totally wonderful Cherie. I think for a lot of people it doesn't matter re accuracy. There are some very famous artists now who started up dailypainters websites, so it is common, and some who even ACEO size - they have listed on eBay from time to time. 2005 there is/was a brilliant collage artist who did one a day. She succeeded. Though stopped after that. It's a good thing to aspire to (I think). :) Glad I set this challenge as I'm loving everything so far! -- ~Jillian artist, Jillian Crider ... google me!

RE: to a painting a day. I have done that lots, then take a break for a few days. I sold my best when I did list one new one a day. Kept the customers looking to see what I did next and sales went up. Takes alot of self monitoring. Note that the best sellers produce that way. If you change up the subjects, it will stay interesting and fresh, for both you and the buyers. It's 2011!!! Try something you have never done before! Lynne
