Wow! A listing promotion. Who saw THAT coming? ;) Though, if their intent is to thwart the strike, FREE listings would have been more effective. -- Kathy

Sellers who are going to strike should ALL definitely take advantage of this promo posting 5 and 3 day auctions. :) -- Anna Original Art From The Gates Of Fairyland Click here to view my current listings!

If they did come up with FREE week of listing just do that and then nothing the week after, that would show them we can be cynical as well 🙂

I knew they would do such a thing and many sellers will fall for that, but that's exactly what I was thinking, doing a 3 day auction. And I was talking about con artist buyers before, I got an email last night from a buyer in Canada who claims he didn't get my painting which I shipped to him on Dec.6.So he let's me know now after over 2 months?I shipped with certificate of mailing, but I doubt that will help if he opens a Paypal dispute. I don't have anything to list right now, but for those who do, definitely do a 3-day auction. Most bids happen at the last minute anyway, so I don't think it matters how long the auction runs. I've done just as well on 3-day auctions as I have on the 7-day ones. -- Kathy -- Edited by poozybear*art at 02/13/2008 6:59 AM PST

I did a 5 day BIN / Best offer listing (starting at 3:01 am) for a pair of vintage tennis rackets from the days when I was more competitive (and moved much faster) and McEnroe and Graf were stars -- Len "Nobody goes there anymore ... it's too crowded." --- Lawrence Peter "Yogi" Berra, #8 "The secret of managing is keeping the guys who hate you away from the guys who are undecided."
