Vena - you are so timely. Just saw an item on TV about an elephant somewhere who has a tender foot. The zookeepers put a red "shoe" that cushions her foot & she receives foot massages, etc. Sue

Awww, I'm glad the zookeepers noticed the elephant's tender foot, Sue. So many circus elephants have foot problems that are ignored until they strike out in pain and are euthanized - I think several of the elephants at the Elephant Sanctuary in TN came there before of painful feet. :) Vena
