ACEO listings - 27th March - 2nd April, 2011

I haven't listed this yet. Not quite sure if I will. Might wait until the new listing prices kick in. I did it for the ACEO card deck. My card I was allotted was the Ace of Spades. I couldn't get past my original fascination with this card. I grew up in the age when we played cowboys and indians, and there were westerns galore on the TV. To find out that the Ace of Spades has such a shady history with the shooting of Wild Bill Hickok, I never could get out of my mind. Attending a western re-enactment last year provided some wonderful images, so with a bit of manipulating the pose, etc. This is what I came up with. I did a bit of this under magnification. And I deliberately gave it a very muted color scheme. -- ~Jillian artist, Jillian Crider ... google me!
