2nd Annual ACEO Playing Card Decks (2 decks!)

Rick has fine-tuned his plans for the 2nd Annual deck of ACEO playing cards, and this is exciting (as if it could be more exciting than last year's project?) because it's a 2 deck set! Yes, folks, 104 cards total! Wowza!!! This will be the thread where we will post info as we can, and so far this is what we have: ***THIS JUST IN FROM RICK, the ACEO Deck Coordinator*** 2nd Annual ACEO ~ Art Cards, Editions and Originals Playing Card Deck This will be a double deck (2 deck set) of a total of 104 cards. Saturday, February 7th Due to the time difference in Australia from the US, we will have a special sign-up for Australian members. 10 cards will be reserved and sign up begins Saturday, February 7th, 12 noon eBay time. A limit of 1 card per member and confirmation of residence will be confirmed by your eBay location in your feedback profile. Sunday, February 8th We will have the main sign-up for all members who previously did not get a chance to participate in the 1st Annual deck on Sunday February 8th, 12 noon ebay time for the remaining cards. The first 12 hrs will be reserved for those who were not in last year's edition. At 12 Midnight February 8th If any cards are still available all members are welcome to sign up on a first come, first serve basis. Oh, Happy Day !!!!! My cards arrived, perfect timing, I have our bridge group here next Wednesday, just in time to use the Art Cards ! Can't wait to hear the comments. And, I can't wait to look through them myself. Thanks Rick, Danni and Kelly for all the work you did. Jean

Hi guys!!! My cards arrived some time ago but this is the first chance I've had to stop in for a while! I was so delighted with how they turned out! Each and every one was an impressive treasure of creativity! Kudos to all participating artists! It was so fun to have the package arrive and whoever did the packaging (I assume Danni from the address) did an awesome job - much appreciated, Danni! A humongous thank you to Rick for your creativity, dedication and thoroughness on this wonderful project! I'm sure we'll never really know how much hard work (and how many trying moments) must have gone into carrying out this mammoth undertaking! But what a super accomplishment! BRAVO! BRAVO! BRAVO! And thank you Kelly (Hi Kell-Belle -missyou!) and everyone else who helped on this. You are an incredible group. Hi Jill! Things are pretty good for me right now. Thanks for remembering me and my work! I hope you are doing well and soon have time to stop by more often. If you want to do something that's fun and not a huge commitment, we still do theme weeks every month... and starting in July (topic: birds) there are no longer any restrictions on starting price or upgrades (winners will only be determined by poll). Just wondered what retail price some of you are thinking of charging for the 2009 Deck? I really have no idea what to ask for them. They are works of art, not just "cards" so it's hard to decide. Donna
