So, I sold a couple of items about 2 weeks ago, and went to print shipping labels one evening, and to my surprise it seems that shipping labels had already been printed. Am I losing my mind? Did I print these in my sleep one night? Not so. I clicked on the little shipping tab and it seems someone hacked into my account and managed to print 16 International Overnight Shipping tickets for 3 different sales to my account for the tune of $2900.00. Aside from that, there were now 16 different members across the US that somehow were linked directly to my Ebay account, so when you print a shipping label anyone of these 16 names would appear as the return address. Oh, and on top of this I have had 2 cases against me due to the mix-up in the all these shipping labels, and of course it wiped out my Top Rated Seller and Powerseller status, dropped my DSR's, and now I have had limitations put on my selling account on Ebay, and of course they won't work with me to get these cases closed and my TRS and PS status reinstated. After 8 years on Ebay, and over 1300 Positive feedbacks, I am nailed because of a hacker and Ebay won't do anything for me. BS!
So of course I freaked out as Ebay is connected to my Paypal account and my Paypal account is linked to my personal bank account, and I find that since of course there wasn't $2900.00 in my Paypal account it hit my personal bank account and they surely did take $2900.00 from me. I call Ebay in a panick at 11pm that night, I get hooked up with what they call a "SECURITY SPECIALIST" who barely spoke English and the best they could say is we will look into it and I should change my password immediately (YOU THINK)???? They then tell me to call Paypal as it is out of there hands. So next I call Paypal and I'm on the phone with them for 2 hours. Same thing, they will investigate, and stop the payments on all these shipping charges. TOO LATE, they have already come out of my bank account. So after 2 hours with Paypal, they tell me it is out of there hands and I need to contact my bank and talk to them. I ended up having to close all my accounts in my bank and with Paypal and I'm out $2900.00 hoping it will get resolved and I will get my money back, and still Ebay can't help with who hacked into my account.
I think as others say in there postings, Ebay and Paypal could really care less about most of us as long as they keep collecting there fee's from us.
I guess people should watch there accounts closely. If it happened to me, it could happen to you, and don't count on Ebay or Paypal to bend over backwards in an instance like this to help me or YOU!
So now I went and purchased an item on Ebay the other day and realized that I can't pay for it because I disconnected my personal account from Paypal. I will be a cold day in HE** before I link my personal account to Paypal again after this matter. I guess I will have to see if I can send a money order to the sellers to pay for my items. I could care less if Ebay doesn't like it or want people to send money orders for items purchased.
BE CAREFUL EVERYONE!!!

@nandawolf wrote:I have a similar problem. Today I noticed that my address has been changed, I have three items on the way and do not know where they will arrive. I already informed Ebay but they tell me contact the seller to call the carrier and change the address. Ebay says they regret that this is happening to me, but they can't help me.
The false addres in my account is:
600 Markley St Apt 067371Port Reading NJ 07064-1813United StatesTo someone is happening the same thing?
The items will be shipped to the address you supplied PayPal, when you paid.

something similar has been happening one of my items for over $400 has been sold 8 times in a week and a half at first items were not being paid, so i would send buyers ivoice then i would get email from ebay saying it was an unauthorized purchase, i even had to refund money, finaly yesterday 11/14/2016 thinking the same was happening, i sent buyer a message asking if it was a legit purchase since there was a history of unauthorized purchases and buyer sent a message saying it was, which should have notice it was not true, message from buyer was with a very broken english but i said ohh well, may he dont speak good english, now im dealing with this item on its way to California and having to refund money. be careful, wait the two days of handling before shipping and change your password every so often.

Just looked at my account and that same address has been added to mine as well (and was set as default shipping address). I googled the address and it seems to be some warehouse but no contact information.

Yes,I had this too. The address was the same except for the apt number:
600 Markley St Ste 073912
Port Reading, NJ 07064-1813
I determined from a search that 600 Markley St. is a commercial building with a number of businesses located there.
corporation 4702 Second Avenue Corp. · 600 Markley St, Port Reading, New Jersey 07064
corporation Abaline Paper Products, Inc. · 600 Markley Street, Port Reading, New Jersey 07064
corporation A.b.j. Distributors, Inc. · 600 Markley St, Port Reading, New Jersey 07064
corporation A. Yerm-yosh Family Realty, LLC · 600 Markley St, Port Reading, New Jersey 07064
The first three of these has the name "Abraham Jeremias" associated with them.
Fortunately I caught this before anything happened.

My ebay account was hacked too. First week of Jan 2017. I'm the only one allow to make purchases and never ship to any address other than my billing address. I received an email that the item had been shipped the same day but could not sign in. My paypal was linked and my credt card had been charged. I contacted Ebay and it was too late to stop the transaction but they reversed the charges to my account and reset my Ebay account. I changed the password and un-linked my paypal account, removed the credit card number and changed the payhpal password too.The item was not expensive but was probably just a test to see if they could get away with it. I think It would be a good Idea if Ebay required verification before allowing changes to accounts and Ship to addreses or at least allow the option.

@dddavis1954 wrote:I changed the password and un-linked my paypal account,
A long time ago I read an article about hijacked accounts and NEVER linked my PayPal account to my eBay buying account for exactly this reason. I have to admit I've been tempted to do that because of the extra steps to purchase items.........then I'm reminded not to by scenarios like this.

My account also recently got hacked and my hacker is a girl who decided to look at nail polish and now I am wondering how to message my hacker if possible because i would like to give her a few words of my own.

My account was used, apparently just to change the shipping address to someplace in another state. Also the phone number was changed to a local business near me. I just want to fricken report the address listed to ebay...so maybe they can follow up...or tell me how to follow up on whoever lives at this address. I have found their names, but what can I do from there. Who do I report this to? It seems like Ebay would have a quick email report option, so they can keep track of adresses like this, and prosecute people who are stealing purchases this way.

well well well...
Funny reading this thread finally. Last month someone hacked into my account, changed my password and username, and shipping address etc etc. They purchased very pricey construction tools and cleaning things, like expensive dyson vaccuums. All I can say is...thank GOD I didn't link my paypal. Ebay customer service eventually got everything removed but it took awhile.
And before anyone replies maybe it was someone in my house that ordered it...I looked up the shipping address and it was to a well known, reputable construction company - LGI homes - in Charlotte North Carolina. Now, I'm no detective but it seems like someone there hacked my account to get tools. Really shady stuff.
Interestingly, before these mysterious purchases appeared, I really only used my account once a year or so. Maybe they're preying on infrequently used accounts in attempt to go unnoticed...
EBAY YOU HAVE MAJOR FLAWS IN YOUR SITE AND I'M DONE WITH YOU! Now these A$$holes have my address, phone number and name. Thanks so much! -_- *end rant.

oh in case others are dealing with this, the address they wanted the tools shipped to was 9003 Avery Meadows Drive, Charlotte, North Carolina .... which is a construction site for a new development, run by LGI homes.
