It is all in the way the processor is set up. eBay is using PayPal's old
processor (Adyen) so I would say they use a capture rather than
authorization then capture.
When you sell an item that is subject to tax, Ebay will collect it and
deduct it from your payment. This is just a monthly statement of those
instances. You have already "paid" these and will need report so you do
not pay twice when it comes tax time...
Yes! Something definitely going on! Started for me around Christmas.
Have never had to carry a balance in my account to process a refund
before then. Have spoke both with E bay and PP on the matter and get no
assistance. One wants to blame the other....
