Refund to buyer

The buyer canceled the order, and wants a refund. Asked eBay for the refund. Now my funds are on hold. I never shipped the item, so the buyer can not send it back. What to do?

I messed up on a buyers tracking # - how will eBay know it was delivered? Thanks

Seller opened a case

What should I do? I made an offer for this item. Seller accepted it. I then emailed him, asking to cancle the order, because it was not what I thought it was. It was a vintage flashlight with the wrong end cap. He didn't mail it yet, never heard back...
