Now, this used to be easily found while producing your label, on the
same page with no links or twisted routes to find it like now.I think
this is a unfair practice being employed upon sellers on ebay. I
personally have lost a couple thousand dollars...
Can someone only see the barcode on the back of a ebay giftcard and
somehow hack the covered pin ans steal the balance of your card? Just
scratched the pin and the balance is zero. I paid 100$ for this card
from a local store. How did they do this?

those are the rip off's after you. don't do anything more than report
them to ebay and hopefully they would do something about it and wipe
those accounts before they do get someone to do that and rip them off.
