how to keep photos from being copied?

I'm selling vintage photos and am seeing some sellers that are putting some types of marks on their photos to keep people from copying them. I thought I had read at some point that this was not allowable. Is it ok now to do this? Thanks.

How do I delete templates I don't want any more?
