If I want to issue a partial refund to a buyer because I was able to get a better price on shipping, will the buyer get the full amount or does ebay take a cut of that? ikeman2

I have my friends eBay "name" but how do I actually find it on eBay? I've gone into advanced settings and entered his name and nothing happens. Any ideas?
