Anyone : how long must a Seller wait if a buyer Has Not picked Up item before item if forfeited - considered abandoned?

I have a Buyer who started a Return, then buyer Messaged Me the Seller to say they want to Keep the Item for a $ Discount. I agree with the Refund Discount but The Return being Open seems to prevent me from issuing a Partial Refund. How To??
