Thanks, but that’s what the Apple Store staff tried. Unfortunately it
made no difference. The somewhat random occurrence of the problem leads
me to think a subset of eBay servers have been compromised but not all.
I’m getting them too, starting yesterday evening. I’m using an iPad so
there’s no virus scanner options. I took the iPad to the Apple Store and
