I picked up a porcelain tureen & centerpiece. At first I thought it was
Capodimonte but can't find a makers mark that matches theirs. Does
anyone have any ideas on who the maker is?
What makes them stand out to you as knock-offs? There were old grease
marks that had settled in under the glaze - something I've come to
associate with age & use (whether correctly or incorretly assumed, I
don't know for certain) - so I thought they ...
There is no reason to think that a glass humidor is unlikely. A simple
ebay or google search turns up many glass humidors that come with
attached pipe rests & wording that clearly indicates its function as a
humidor.
