Problems with typing when trying to respond or start conversation on messages

It will accept the first letter - then quits. What is weird is that it lets me type in here and I can still type emails. This must be another EBAY issue. Please let me know of any fixes. Thanks.

How can we be held accountable, when you can't even figure out shipping until after the sale. I am done with "free" shipping - as I relist, I am taking it off and putting in a line about the post office screwing all of us with this convoluted system....
