Why is my paypal payment method not being used for shipping. They keep taking from my bank acct.

Long, Long Term seller - Ebay is trying to screw us again.  I am using my Paypal account as I always have to pay for shipping (using the preferred method of a credit card).  Lately, when I buy an item it still works properly, but when I ship something it takes it from my bank account instead.... Anyone else have this issue.  (I did verify that I still have the proper card preferred.)  I am sure Ebay changed something to screw long time sellers again, but I can't figure out what it was.  Any help would be appreciated.

If the issue is eBay switched your payment method from PayPal to pending funds, you can change it back next time you purchase a label. eBay will switch it if you buy a UPS or FedEx label since those have to be paid with eBay funds. There are also several other situations where eBay will change it on you so you have to keep an eye on it.

If the issue is eBay's putting the charge through PayPal, but PayPal is charging your bank, read this thread for resolution:

Thank you much, but it isn't coming from ebay funds.  They are taking it out of my back up bank account I have on Paypal.  Any other ideas?  I do very much appreciate the info on UPS and Fedex - that was news to me as well.

Thank you, yes I did check out the hyperlink - its not the issue, I changed my card and now it is working, I am guessing they are not letting me use AMEX anymore.   I appreciate the assist.

eBay no longer accepts AmEx as of 3 mos ago.
